The cables themselves are hooked up to a rocker pulley on the inside end of the twistgrip. The corresponding outer housings with their ferrule endcaps rest in stops on the baseplate, which is bolted to the inside of the headset. Piaggio has stopped production of this important part for many models. For these SIP has had the baseplate for the cables reproduced in excellent quality. No scooter shall be off the road because of some missing small part.
