Eastern Pondhawk Dragonfly No. 4

The Story:      While visiting Possum Creek MetroPark this Eastern Pondhawk Dragonfly (Erythemis simplicicollis) danced among the vegetation surrounding the park’s lake. The females of this species are bright green, while the males take on this blue color.
