Lee Oskar Natural Minor Diatonic (1910N)

$32.62 $49.58
Description List Price: $64.99 You Save: $18.49 -->

Don’t be confused. This is not a standard tuned diatonic and it is not what we recommend for beginners. This is a special purpose harmonica. The “Natural Minor” tuned diatonic is made specifically to be played in the 2nd Position and is used for songs in minor keys. It can be a bit confusing, but the key of the harmonica is the key for the 2nd Position playing.

Typically, the key of the harmonica is the same as the 1st Position playing, but not in this case (same goes for the Lee Oskar “Melody Maker”). The most common minor key used in music is “Am” (“A” minor). This is most likely the key you would want to buy first. After that, if there is a specific song you want to play to, buy that Natural Minor keyed harmonica. Remember to play in the 2nd Position.

Be sure to use the “Choose Key:” pull-down menu to select your key. The default key of “Am” is good if you are just starting out. After “Am”, other good minor keys include: “Bm”, “Dm”, “Em”, and “Gm”. Return to this page to add additional keys to your order.

<!-- Don’t be confused.
