The special feature of the Italian AC (alternating current) wiring harness is the very simple construction and the special voltage guidance. The entire current of the alternator is led unregulated to the horn button and from there only back to the voltage regulator. The horn button is covered with two times two cables and designed as an opener. If it is actuated, the entire current flows first via the horn (ratchet) and then only to the regulator. Without actuation, the current flows directly to the regulator. Ideal for vehicles that are to be equipped with a minimum wiring harness. Damaged wires from the switches are the cause of most electrical problems, as the wires go from the moving handlebars into the static frame, they rub and can short out. Our replacement switches are OEM quality. This switch is equivalent to Piaggio Vespa part numbers 217898 and 232240.
