Description1 BGM Vespa PX EFL Disc & T5 1984 Onwards LML StarCarb M7 Hex Headed Bolt Screw 2 required per carburettor Screw M7 mm, 11 mm socket headouter threadmounting carburettor, for Vespa P80-150X/P200E/PX80-200E/Lusso/`98/MY/`11/T5/Cosa,with or without oil pump DescriptionShaft screw BGM PRO Vespa Largeframe for fixing carburettor SI20/SI24/SI26New type of screw from BGM PRO with practical hexagonal head Replaces the traditional hexagon socket screw for fixing the carburettor of Vespa PX models from 1984 onwards (PX Lusso, My, 2011, Cosa) Fits also for mounting a Malossi/Polini/Pinasco rotary slide intake manifold Can also be used as a replacement for the studs/nuts used to mount the carburetor on the earlier Vespa Largeframe models with rotary slide intake. These are among others the engines of the models VNB, VBA, VBB, VNC, VBC, Sprint, Rally, GT, GTR, TS, GL ADVANTAGES OF THE BGM PRO SHAFT BOLT: HEXAGON HEAD INSTEAD OF IMBUS The BGM PRO shaft screw has a conventional hexagonal head with wrench size 11. This means that the screw can be operated with the same tool as is used on the rest of the engine (M7 with SW=11). This eliminates the hexagon socket as Piaggio used it originally on the vehicles from about 1984.This makes the BGM PRO shaft screw much more practical in the workshop.Due to the slightly slimmer head, the screw also fits the aftermarket intake manifolds from Polini, Malossi or Pinasco. SHORTER SHAFT LENGTHThe BGM PRO socket screw has not only a better screw head but also a minimally reduced screw-in length. This makes it much safer to use than the hexagon socket screw from Piaggio. The BGM PRO shaft screw protects the rotary valve sealing surface, which is located directly below the screw-in thread in the engine block. If one of the two washers is forgotten with the original Piaggio screw, the end of the screw exerts pressure on the sealing surface. With the approx.1.5mm shorter BGM PRO screw you are always on the safe side.
