The Tatami R&D team have spent countless hours analysing what stress areas appear on fight shorts when grappling and how to alleviate the restriction of movement that sometimes appears when wearing looser styles of shorts. The culmination of those studies in the Dynamic Fit Fight Shorts, developed with a dual leg, hip and thigh stretch panel. Traditional MMA/Fight shorts only had the one Lycra panel placed in the crotch, but this was mainly to help with the kicking aspect and had no benefit to grapplers.
